 FORUM PLANET'ERE 3 

July 18-26, 2005

After France and Canada, the Fondation Nature et Vie organized in Burkina Faso, the third edition of the Planet'ERE Forum _cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_under the theme "challenges, mechanisms and strategies environmental education towards sustainable development for a responsible, fair and united world”. The forum brought together more than 2,000 participants from more than 43 countries.

TREE 8 BURKINA FASO

In Yantéga,  the women leaders planted 8 young baobab trees bearing the names of the first ladies of the G8. This tree planting operation called TREE 8 Burkina Faso, organized by the NGO Tree Aid and chaired by the Founder of Nature et vie took place simultaneously_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_ with a symbolic tree planting carried out by the first ladies of the G8.  In addition, 500 feet of Senegalese acacia donated by the Minister of the Environment and Living Environment to the women of Yantéga been buried.
